Intralux Consulting was founded with the vision of being the premier political consulting firm in Iowa. Founder and CEO Jake Chapman grew up in the life of public service. Jake served in the Iowa Senate for 10 years and quickly rose up as a leader within the Iowa Legislature. Prior to leaving the Iowa Senate, Jake Chapman served as Chairman of the Commerce Committee, Chairman of the Ways & Means Committee, and lastly as the President of the Iowa Senate. Jake had numerous successes in passing legislation as well as blocking harmful legislation. Jake has a depth of knowledge and experience in the political arena and looks forward to finding ways to utilize these skills to benefit your organization. Jake also helped deliver Ted Cruz a win in the 2016 Iowa Caucuses as a State Co-Chair for the campaign. From Presidential campaigns to comprehensive public relations, Jake can help deliver results for your organization.
Partner and Vice-President of Intralux Consulting – Kimberly Chapman served as a policy advisor to Jake in the President of the Senate’s office.
Kimberly provides an incredible insight into the process and strategy in accomplishing your goals. In 2021, Kimberly successfully worked with the Iowa legislature to pass a bill to remove the criminal statutes of limitation for sexual abuse of minors. Kimberly has spent years advocating for victims’ rights through training law enforcement, prosecutors, and those involved in victim services. Her efforts also include leading classes for victims and educating those who support them, speaking to various student and community groups, as well as contributing to a textbook about outcomes after trauma.
